Applications for participation grantsPASCAL Network of ExcellenceThe network of excellence PASCAL (Pattern Analysis, Statistical Modelling and Computational Learning) offers a limited number of travel grants for ECML-PKDD 2004. Only PASCAL researchers or PASCAL students (including prospective researchers/students) may apply for a grant. Student ID or proof certifying student status is required. Applications should indicate the total amount needed for flight, registration, and subsistence. Grants will be assigned with preference to students and to authors of accepted papers. KDNet STUDENT GRANT PROGRAM: KDNet offers conference registration (free of charge) to five students (KDNet members institutions
are preferred) whose articles have been accepted to the conference as full or short papers. The (firm!!) deadline for applying
for a registration grant is 4 July, 2004.
